Not at all, HRGs will read your hand without issues. Nobody¡¯s hand size or shape changes drastically overnight. When you gain weight, your hands may become a little larger, but is gradually, not overnight. HRGs reads and updates saved template ( biometrics reference data, same as employee master file in the reader memory ) using the average every time you clock IN or OUT. In other word, the reader ¡°learns¡± every time you scan your hands. As your hands become a little larger in the course of gaining weight, your template in the reader will be adjusted every day to the latest template. So it will never affect the recognition efficiencies..
