ANSWER 1
Maximum 10 digits of PIN number can be entered to specify your identity. When you program the parameter called ID Length in the reader , you can enter up to 10 digits of your PIN number. This means that person A can have 5 digits and B can have 8 digits PIN number while you are using 10 maximum digits for identifying yourself concurrently. This operation, however, requires you to press ENTER button every time you enter the PIN number. If you can decide to use 4 digits password for all staffs, you can program this ID length parameter as 4 digits and the reader will prompt you to place your hand as soon as you enter the 4 digits Pin number. It will not require you to hit ENTER key. This operation is every time you clock IN or OUT and one less keystroke means more friendly operation for staffs to use this device. So we normally recommend you to assign same length of PIN number for everybody.
